The People's Building

The People's Building presents a range of performances, including theater productions, variety shows, and live music. Located in Aurora, it is a gallery and flexible event space for cultural events, workshops, meetings, independent artists, musicians, dancers, and event planners. The venue offers event, performance, and rehearsal space, along with facilities for social gatherings and weddings. Artists of different disciplines can use the space to explore, educate, and perform, while programming brings arts, education, and wellness to metro-area residents. Resident organizations also help connect the building with its community. Its history includes use as a ski shop and a rent-to-own furniture store before revitalization by the City of Aurora's Office of Urban Renewal and Redevelopment.
