About DrumConnection
In Arlington, DrumConnection is a specialty music school focused on West African drumming, including djembe and dunu traditions. Friday djembe classes serve students at all skill and experience levels, with the precise Arlington or Lexington location announced separately. Private lessons are one-on-one, with instruction tailored to technique, rhythm, and performance skills; students can book individual lessons or lesson packs, with flexible scheduling and skill-based placement. The program also offers world percussion workshops with guest master teachers, multi-day retreats, and performance opportunities. Outside of instruction, DrumConnection sells handmade African djembes and provides djembe tuning and repairs.
