Anchorage Senior Activity Center

Programs and services for older adults are the core offerings at this senior activity center. Members can take part in fitness instruction, health and wellness programs, arts and crafts groups, dancing, billiards, cards, and social events. The center also provides monthly technology classes, a library with books members may borrow, and personalized Medicare counseling, including screenings for eligibility in more than 70 benefits programs. Appointments for Medicare counseling are available by phone, computer, or in person. A senior meal program, restaurant, gift shop, catering, and room and facility rentals are also offered. Membership is open to people aged 50 and older, with associate membership for ages 18 to 49. The center operates in Anchorage, Alaska.
