About Beauties and Beasts Boarding and Daycare
Animal rescue and dog boarding are central to this nonprofit's work. Beauties and Beasts rescues cats and dogs at risk of euthanasia from local shelters, then places animals in foster homes or its private boarding facility. The facility can house approximately 50 adoptable dogs. Animals in its care include those with varied breeds, ages, medical needs, and behavior. The organization also works through community outreach, awareness and education campaigns, and advocacy for animals at risk. It is volunteer-led, and animals are cared for by a network of active fosters as well as at the boarding facility. Based in Wichita, Kansas, Beauties and Beasts has operated since 2014 and cares for cats and dogs awaiting adoption into companion homes.
