Local history
Collects, researches, and preserves Camas-Washougal history.
Open every Saturday from 12 to 4 p.m., Two Rivers Heritage Museum presents artifacts and stories from the Camas and Washougal area. Operated by the Camas-Washougal Historical Society, the museum collects, researches, and preserves local history. Its collections reflect connections between Native populations and newcomers, as well as the region's natural resources and the Columbia and Washougal rivers. The museum also develops educational and cultural programs for the public using preserved artifacts and documents. Visitors can explore the museum in person or take a video tour. The historical society was formed in 1975, and its first museum space opened in a room in the Camas Library in 1981. The museum is closed on Christmas and New Year's.
