American Friends of Lubavitch

Jewish programs and community initiatives are the core offerings of this Chabad-Lubavitch organization. It represents the international movement in the nation's capital and organizes activities with local, national, and international reach. Programs serve people of varied backgrounds and affiliations, including children, students, young professionals, older adults, and people with special needs. Initiatives include the Washington Torah project, the National Menorah Council, the Capitol Jewish Forum, and support for Jewish students. The organization also advises, facilitates, and supports Chabad-Lubavitch efforts around the world, including conferences, diplomatic events, crisis response, and humanitarian relief. Its Washington programs promote Jewish identity and community engagement throughout the year.
