About The Nature Bus
Groups can book customizable nature tours for up to 16 people on The Nature Bus, with half-day, full-day, and two-day options. Visitors choose dates, and tours are planned for the group; the company requests several weeks' notice to arrange nature guides. Occasional public tours offer individual tickets for available seats. Tours depart from both the Virginia Beach and Charlottesville areas, with Virginia Beach departures from the REI parking lot. The company also operates The Nature Bus School, a nature-based educational program for children in Pre-K through first grade, serving the Charlottesville area. Nature tours are the specialty. In Virginia Beach, the bus provides group outings focused on exploring the natural world.
