Tipton Community Garden

Community gardening is one of the ways Kendall Whittier Incorporated supports neighborhood food security. The organization operates Tipton Community Garden and the GROW Garden, alongside an Emergency Food Pantry, to provide nutritious food to neighbors facing food insecurity. Its programs focus on basic needs, nutritional health, and well-being, with particular attention to vulnerable residents, including seniors, children, and people with disabilities. Neighborhood residents and others interested in the community are involved in the organization. Kendall Whittier Incorporated was formed in 1968 by a coalition of neighborhood churches and has supported the historic Kendall Whittier neighborhood for decades. Tipton Community Garden is part of this work in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
