About Sunshine Daycare
Sunshine Daycare provides early childhood education and care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years in The Bronx. Its programs include infant, toddler, two's, preschool, and pre-K classrooms, with learning centered on creative play, foundational concepts, life skills, and school preparedness. The center uses The Creative Curriculum®, a research-driven educational approach, and includes extracurricular exposure in its programming. Families receive daily updates through the Tadpoles app, including activity reports, lesson plans, photos, videos, meals, naps, and diaper or potty information. Parent involvement includes conferences, community events, and monthly Zoom meetings. The center also supports families with school selection after graduation.
