Boards for Bros

Boards for Bros is a nonprofit community service organization. It gives skateboards to children who cannot afford them, helping kids get a first skateboard of their own. The organization builds complete skateboard decks and distributes skateboards through community efforts. Volunteers can take part in build days, distribution parties, and community events. Donations help purchase equipment for these projects; the organization says each $20 donation can fund a complete deck. Individuals and companies can also sponsor a build to help build and distribute skateboards in their communities. Boards for Bros is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Tampa and operates in connection with Skatepark of Tampa.
