Missouri Foundation for Health

Health policy, research, and community-focused initiatives are central to the work of this foundation. It works with communities and nonprofits to generate and accelerate changes in health, and provides policy information for organizations, policymakers, and media. Learning and research examine the experiences of Missourians affected by systemic injustices. Programs include support for Missouri nonprofits and governmental health organizations seeking federal and national funding, along with a Health Equity Fund and strategic communications. Initiatives address behavioral health, crisis response, firearm injury prevention, and food systems. The foundation is based in St. Louis and works across Missouri and the region.
