Located in South Elgin, Cat-i Glass Manufacturing fabricates precision glass products for prototype runs and large production volumes. Its services include CNC machining and edgework, cutting, drilling, bevelling, sawing, waterjet processing, and post-fabrication assembly. Additional processing includes chemical strengthening, heat tempering, lamination with film or sensors, clean room processing, sandblasting, laser marking, screen printing, and inspection. Work is handled in multiple class 1000 clean rooms, with production available 24 hours. The company stocks more than 700 glass materials, including soda lime, low iron, borosilicate, coated, etched, colored, patterned, and specialty glass. Cat-i Glass also offers stocking programs and provides quotes for project requirements.
