About Italian American Victory Club
Its function hall includes a dance floor, bar, in-house caterer, and Wi-Fi. The Italian-American Victory Club is a private member's club in Shrewsbury, founded in 1934 to bring together Americans of Italian extraction and provide a place for meetings and gatherings. The organization has held holiday celebrations, joined local parades, and hosted a bocce league that welcomes all players. Many events and parties are open to the public. The club also has a history of sponsoring dances, youth sports teams, road races, and a welcome home party for Shrewsbury's World War II veterans. Its building on Dewey Road was erected after members acquired land in 1937 and contributed labor to its construction. The facility serves functions and events.
