About Acapella Rising AR
Singing valentines are one of the offerings from Acapella Rising, a men's barbershop chorus based in the Little Rock area. The group performs local gigs, annual shows, national anthems at ballgames, and programs for civic and charitable functions. It also competes within the Barbershop Harmony Society. Rehearsals are open to prospective singers and take place every Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Sherwood. The chorus welcomes new singers to visit a rehearsal without advance notice. Daron Praetzel has directed Acapella Rising since 2017. Its repertoire includes current songs available to members through the chorus's song access page.
