Sunday worship
Gatherings take place Sundays at 10:30 a.m.
In Seattle's Columbia City neighborhood, Columbia City Church of Hope is a progressive ELCA congregation and community of faith. It gathers for Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m., meeting in person at Kin On on the second and fourth Sundays and online on Zoom on the first and third Sundays. The congregation explores faith and spirituality, welcomes questions and doubts, and works for justice, including for people experiencing homelessness, LGBTQ people, people of color, and economically marginalized communities. It is partnering with El Centro de la Raza on a development that includes a new church space, affordable family housing, and an early childhood learning center. The planned church space is intended to serve as a sanctuary and a community gathering place for groups and events.
