Create Community Studios

A nonprofit community arts organization. It provides low-cost art workshops and groups for children, teens, and adults, along with community wellness activities and open studios. Programs use expressive arts and the creative process to support personal growth, communication, and social connection. The organization focuses on art-making as a process rather than on producing a particular image or finished product. Its activities aim to make creative experiences affordable and accessible across cultural and economic barriers, for people of all ages and abilities. The Schenectady Studio is at 140 Erie Blvd, and a separate ceramics wellness studio is also listed at that address. CREATE Community Studios is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving the Capital Region, with additional studios in Saratoga Springs and Troy.
