Spring Valley Volunteer Fire Department

Spring Valley Volunteer Fire Department has served the northeastern foothills of San Jose and Milpitas since 1978. The volunteer department provides fire suppression and basic life support medical care for residents, visitors, and surrounding areas. Its personnel maintain year-round readiness and respond to various emergencies. Regular training covers structure and wildland firefighting, medical emergencies, rescue techniques, and crew wellness. Members also train with other agencies, attend specialized fire training, and participate in overhead team assignments for large campaign fires.
