Saint Francis Lutheran Church

Sunday worship with Holy Communion is the central offering at this Lutheran congregation. Services are held weekly at 11 a.m., and the sacrament is open to all. Families with children are welcome, with childcare provided during worship. The congregation also hosts neighborhood events and offers a coffee hour after Sunday services for fellowship. It welcomes people across faith backgrounds and expressions, household types, ages, abilities, and sexual orientations and gender identities. The church identifies as a Reconciling in Christ congregation and describes advocacy for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people as part of its calling. Worship and community gatherings take place in San Francisco, near Church and Market streets.
