About Comix Experience
In San Francisco, Comix Experience is a comic book and graphic novel shop with curated shelves and an online store. It offers weekly comic preorders, available for shipment or in-store pickup, and graphic novel clubs for adults and children. Club offerings include selected books, signed bookplates, and monthly creator interviews; a monthly preview magazine helps members choose upcoming releases. The shop also hosts creator events and signings, along with comic-making workshops and lessons on storytelling and visual narrative. Schools and libraries can join a kids' graphic novel club, and K - 12 educators can receive special pricing. Readers can also visit for one-on-one recommendations from staff. The business has served San Francisco readers since 1989.
