One-of-a-kind pieces
Clothing and accessories made as individual designs.
Based in San Diego, Sew Loka is a slow fashion clothing brand that creates one-of-a-kind garments and accessories. Designer Claudia Biezunski-Rodriguez works with upcycled materials and vintage fabrics to make and rework clothing. The shop features items such as patched and cropped dress shirts, bleached and reworked tees, and thrifted sweaters. Some pieces are sewn and patched by Claudia, while bleaching and dyeing are also part of the making process. Products are offered as individual designs in different garment sizes, with new collections presented as recent drops. Sew Loka began in 2013 and grew from Claudia's work creating unique clothing, handbags, and other accessories. The brand also produces the Skills Pay Bills podcast, with discussions about business, the arts, culture, and community.
