California Research Foundation

Founded in 1966, California Research Foundation conducts clinical trials in San Diego. The facility grew from a private family medical practice and has completed more than 600 FDA-sanctioned clinical investigative studies across Phases I through IV. Its research covers most areas of internal medicine, with a primary focus on new and existing vaccines. A multispecialty group of board-certified specialists and full-time clinical research staff supports study work. The foundation enrolls volunteers in trials across a variety of therapeutic areas, including studies for healthy volunteers. It also works with pharmaceutical and contract research organization partners on protocol execution, enrollment, and data reporting. The organization offers information for both prospective participants and research sponsors.
