ArtsBusXpress

ArtsBusXpress funds transportation for TK-12 public and charter school field trips. Its program helps schools cover bus costs so students can take part in out-of-classroom learning. Funding supports visits to arts, cultural, science, and environmental learning destinations, and teachers at any public or charter school may apply. Title I schools receive funding priority. The organization focuses specifically on transportation, addressing a barrier for schools that may already have access to free or low-cost venue admission. Teachers can apply for transportation funding, while donors and partners can fund seats on buses. ArtsBusXpress also shares field trip destination ideas across San Diego. It is based in San Diego and serves schools across the county's 42 school districts.
