Albert Einstein Academies

Near downtown San Diego, Albert Einstein Academies is a public charter school network that includes an elementary school serving grades K-5, a middle school, and a high school planned to open in fall 2028. The schools are tuition-free. The elementary program follows the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program, with German language instruction for students in grades K-5. Learning is organized around inquiry-based units that encourage students to take ownership of their education. Students can also participate in AfterStein, which offers clubs, academic support, tutoring, physical play, and sports. Additional programs include music and visual arts, while the network's foreign travel and exchange program gives students opportunities to engage with other cultures and languages. The schools also offer athletics and enrichment beyond the classroom.
