Texas Agricultural Land Trust

A land conservation organization. The Texas Agricultural Land Trust works with landowners to conserve agricultural and working lands in Texas. Its land team discusses a property owner's goals, helps determine whether the organization is a fit, and guides applicants through the conservation process. TALT helps identify conservation tools and resources, including conservation easements, to support the continued use of working lands and protect family legacies. The organization reports having helped land stewards conserve more than 325,433 acres since 2007. Its easements also support rural communities and agricultural economies, while conserving water and providing ecosystem services. TALT is based in San Antonio and works alongside land stewards throughout Texas.
