Youth program
Peer groups, coaching, and recovery activities for ages 12 to 17.
Peer-led recovery support is offered through programs for teens, adults, and families affected by substance use. Teens ages 12 to 17 can join support groups, receive peer coaching, and take part in recovery activities. Adults ages 18 and older have support groups, peer coaching, and a community for rebuilding their lives. The family program supports parents, caregivers, siblings, and other loved ones impacted by substance use. Participants can connect by registering or attending a meeting, then join weekly peer-led groups and build community through coaching, activities, and accountability. The organization also partners with the community on education and prevention. Rise Recovery serves San Antonio and originally began as the Palmer Drug Abuse Program, which came to the city in 1977.
