Children's Ballet of San Antonio

Children's Ballet of San Antonio presents major productions each year, including The Children's Nutcracker and musical theater works. The nonprofit operates as an independent professional-style ballet company, creating performance opportunities for young artists in San Antonio. Participants receive coaching in classical ballet and musical theater repertoire from professional artists, choreographers, and guest master teachers. Productions also include community outreach performances and appearances at local events. The organization aims to make high-quality productions accessible to the community while developing young performers through opportunities to take part in performances. Its work centers on youth performing arts, with productions led by local young artists under the direction of Vanessa Bessler. The company is located at the Dance Center of San Antonio.
