American Research Center In Egypt

Based in San Antonio, the American Research Center in Egypt is a research and education organization for Egyptologists and scholars of Egypt. Its work spans Prehistoric, Pharaonic, Coptic, Arab and Ottoman history and culture. Programs support archaeological excavation, monument conservation, and professional training for Egyptian colleagues. The organization also offers research fellowships and publishes scholarly work. Its activities connect scholars and institutions in the United States with research in Egypt, while public outreach shares academic findings more broadly. Local chapters across the US hold lectures and seminars on current research and discoveries. ARCE also supports conservation projects and provides grants and fellowships for scholars, including early career researchers.
