Child Advocacy and Parenting Services

Located in Salina, Child Advocacy and Parenting Services is a community organization serving children and families through advocacy, education, and family support programs. Its services include Chris's Place, a licensed Child Advocacy Center, and CASA Court Appointed Special Advocates. Parenting classes are free and offered on a rotating semester schedule. Early Learning Enhancement supports parents and providers in preparing children for kindergarten, while respite care gives parents a break. Family mentoring provides encouragement, guidance, resources, and practical support. The organization also offers school-based bullying prevention and Happy Bear personal safety classes aimed at preventing childhood abuse. Adults can access the Grief Recovery Method program to process grief. Programs serve children and families in the community.
