Oregon Small Woodlands Association

Support for small woodland owners begins with education, advocacy, and connections among peers. The Oregon Small Woodlands Association brings together individuals, families, and companies who own woodland property. Members can access current information and technology resources, connect with owners in their county, state, and region, and collaborate on shared issues. The association also represents members before the state legislature, agencies, boards, and commissions, and works with related organizations at state, regional, and federal levels. Members may participate in developing forest carbon markets. Its purpose is to help members understand and manage their property in line with their goals, sharing experiences across different property sizes and levels of forestry experience. The organization is based in Salem, Oregon.
