This business is a public service cooperative. It supports government agencies, educational institutions, and nonprofit organizations through cooperative purchasing, regional programs, and other resources. Participating agencies can use hundreds of competitively solicited contracts, drawing on the combined buying power of more than 50,000 public agencies. Minnesota-only offerings include training, funding, and services for education, government, and nonprofit organizations. In its five-county Minnesota service region, the cooperative also provides shared professional services and training opportunities for schools and communities. Sourcewell is a local unit of government created by the Minnesota legislature and governed by a Board of Directors elected by full-voting members. Eligible organizations can register as participating agencies.
