About Rush River Lutheran Church
Rush River Lutheran Church provides Christian worship and congregational ministry in River Falls. Sunday worship includes a flexible, casual service with Holy Communion on the first and third Sundays of each month. During the program year, Sunday School and coffee fellowship precede worship, while summer services follow a seasonal schedule. Special services are held for Ash Wednesday, Lent, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Thanksgiving Eve, and Christmas Eve. The church also offers confirmation, music, youth and family activities, prayer requests, ministry groups, and an altar guild. Its historic cemetery includes records dating to the church's first Christian burial in 1855. The congregation publishes weekly worship and news materials and hosts an annual Harvest Dinner and Country Store.
