About Silver Bear Swim School
Children's swim lessons are offered from 6 months of age, with classes arranged by a swimmer's age, development, and skill level. Lessons build progressive swimming fundamentals through drills, games, toys, and songs, while instructors assess students against level-specific benchmarks. Water safety drills and games are included in every level, and the school also holds dedicated Safety Weeks. The curriculum is tailored to students in the greater Reno area. Silver Bear Swim School has two Reno locations, in South Reno and Northwest Reno, and another location in Sparks. Its offerings include baby swim, learn-to-swim classes, swim team, and classes for swimmers with special abilities.
