Arthur Johnson Piano Services

A piano technician serving the Reno area and surrounding regions. Arthur Johnson provides piano tuning, repairs, and regulation throughout northwestern Nevada and the mountain regions of eastern California. Tuning adjusts the notes to the international standard and to one another. Repair work can address sticking keys, squeaky pedals, harsh tone, damaged music racks, and chipped keys, as well as worn parts that need adjustment or replacement. Services include minor adjustments, full regulation, hammer replacement, and restringing. Humidity control systems are also installed to help stabilize tuning and protect a piano's internal wood from dry conditions. Arthur is a factory certified installer of the Piano Life Saver System by Dampp Chaser, and an authorized dealer for Dawson String Covers for grand pianos.
