Apartment Association of North Carolina

A statewide trade association for North Carolina's rental housing industry. It has served the industry since 1986. The association represents more than 500,000 apartment homes across the state and works through local affiliates in seven regions. Its services include regulatory and legislative advocacy, industry education, and communication for members. AANC also maintains a state supplier directory and shares information about industry events and member activities. Its stated objectives include affordable housing, quality construction, and professional management, while addressing standards for safety, habitability, security, environmental controls, design, and management. Joining a local affiliate also provides membership in AANC and the National Apartment Association. The organization is based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
