PGI Green Thumbs, Inc.

The organization provides hands-on care for garden beds in a community Nature Park, including planting, pruning, watering, and fertilizing. Volunteers help develop and maintain the gardens, with opportunities to focus on a particular planting bed or assist when special needs arise, such as storm cleanup. The garden beds emphasize conservation, native plants, and wildlife habitat protection. The Nature Park also serves as a place for community enjoyment and education. Donations help fund ongoing garden supplies. Based in Punta Gorda, Florida, PGI Green Thumbs is a nonprofit volunteer organization centered on the park's landscape and gardens.
