Children's Language Development Center

In Plano, Children's Language Development Center is a therapy center serving toddlers, children, and teens with developmental differences. It provides comprehensive evaluations, speech therapy, and occupational therapy. Speech services address articulation, language, fluency, apraxia, and social communication, while occupational therapy supports motor coordination, sensory processing, handwriting, and daily living skills. Therapy is individualized and guided by the Developmental, Individualized, Relationship-based model, including DIRFloortime principles. Sessions use child-led interaction and play to support engagement, communication, emotional regulation, and practical skills. Therapists also work closely with families, helping them understand children's developmental capacities, communication, sensory needs, and daily living skills. The center has served Plano families for over 25 years and is in-network with BCBS, United Healthcare, and Aetna plans.
