Habitat for Humanity ReStore Plainfield

Habitat for Humanity of Eastern Connecticut offers volunteer shifts at its ReStore. The organization works with families and community partners to support affordable homeownership through homebuilding, education, and partnership. Its work includes helping households build and purchase safe, affordable homes in Eastern Connecticut. Community members can also donate vehicles, with proceeds supporting homebuilding and vehicles recycled responsibly. The organization offers homeowner readiness workshops covering the homebuying process, financial confidence, and its homeownership program. Volunteers can choose from construction or ReStore shifts on the public calendar. The Plainfield ReStore is part of this broader Habitat effort.
