Public art programs, artist opportunities, and community projects are central to this Pittsburgh organization's work. It maintains an artist registry, offers public art training and calls for artists, and supports artist residencies in public spaces. The Pittsburgh Creative Corps connects pre-qualified artists with public art opportunities across southwest Pennsylvania, while the SEED Money Fund provides rapid-response funding for Black artists in the region who are new to public art. Community partnerships are another specialty: past projects brought artists and local organizations together to create public artworks addressing COVID-19's impact. The organization also offers public programming, civic engagement opportunities, guided art and nature walks, and resources for clients and developers working with public art. Its work focuses on public art and civic design in Pittsburgh and the surrounding region.
