Read On Arizona

A statewide literacy initiative focused on early learning and reading outcomes in Arizona. Read On Arizona coordinates collaboration among partners and advances strategies, policies, and investments to help children read at grade level and succeed in school. Its shared priorities include educator capacity, evidence-based solutions, family and community engagement, and quality early learning. The initiative supports local efforts through Read On Communities, which coordinate school readiness and early literacy work. Resources include MapLIT, an interactive data tool for mapping and reports, and guidance on K-3 reading instruction and early identification of reading challenges. It also shares literacy strategies, case studies, information on chronic absence, and tools related to early childhood funding.
