GK Legacy Foundation

Scholarship funding is the core offering of this 501(c)(3) foundation. Its Keep Your Chin Up Scholarship supports Arizona residents age 25 or older who are pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree, vocational study, or certification. Awards range from $500 to $5,000, based on individual need and merit, and are designated for tuition and books only. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. The foundation holds two application cycles each year, beginning February 1 and September 1. Its work focuses on adults returning to school while managing work, family, or financial stress, a group the foundation says has few scholarship options. It also accepts donations directed toward scholarship funding. The foundation is based in Phoenix, Arizona.
