About Elevate Phoenix
The R.I.S.E. summer bridge program helps high school graduates earn six college credits through a partnership with South Mountain Community College. Elevate Phoenix is a community organization focused on supporting urban and at-risk youth through long-term mentoring and education programs. Its school-based programs span elementary, middle, and high school, with activities including early literacy, lunch mentoring, after-school programs, and an accredited elective class in life skills and leadership. Teacher-mentors provide ongoing support as students work toward graduation and post-secondary plans. A summer camp serves K-8 students at partner schools, while the Alumni Program helps graduates stay connected and give back. Elevate Phoenix partners with Phoenix Union High School District and reports programs reaching more than 5,500 students annually.
