About Cactus Cats Rescue
In Phoenix, Cactus Cats Rescue is a nonprofit, no-kill organization focused on rescuing cats and kittens. It began in 1998 and is run by volunteers, with cats living in foster homes while they await adoption. The rescue works with other animal rescue groups and shelters. It holds adoption events on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ahwatukee Petco in Phoenix, where people can meet cats and kittens available for adoption. The organization also accepts monetary and supply donations to support the animals in its care, and sells Cactus Cats Rescue shirts to help fund rescue and care. Its website states that intake is currently paused because the rescue is at capacity.
