Studio Incamminati

In Philadelphia, Studio Incamminati is an accredited academy for realist art education. It offers structured training in classical technique, with courses in drawing and painting from life available through continuing education. Eight-week classes meet in the evenings and on weekends for part-time students. Shorter workshops provide multi-day, hands-on instruction and individualized guidance from academy instructors and visiting instructors. Portrait painting courses take students through the process from an initial sketch to a finished painting, covering proportion, likeness, form, and color. Studio Incamminati Labs extends learning through special projects, partnerships, lectures, and exhibitions, where artists can explore ideas and apply their training. The academy also equips students with tools for developing professional careers in the arts.
