Metcalfe Architecture & Design

Founded in 2001, the Philadelphia-based practice designs architecture, exhibitions, and graphics for physical environments. Its projects include the Frankford Library, the Making Room exhibit at the National Building Museum, and the Buerger Center at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. The firm works with cultural institutions, schools, museums, healthcare organizations, and corporate clients. Its services include master planning, exhibition design, and graphic design alongside architecture. Projects bring together building design and visual elements, with attention to how people use and experience spaces. The practice also works on projects for restaurants and retail clients. Examples range from library and school buildings to museum exhibits, healthcare facilities, and campus plans.
