Kol Tzedek Synagogue

Shabbat services bring Kol Tzedek's West Philadelphia community together for prayer and shared Jewish practice. This Reconstructionist synagogue is a multiracial, intergenerational community grounded in Jewish tradition. Its spiritual life includes care, yahrzeit observances, life-cycle support, and B'nei Mitzvah programs. Learning opportunities include Torah School and adult learning, alongside a conversion cohort called Hineini. Members and neighbors can also take part in a virtual community and KT's Simcha Band. The congregation describes its work as connecting spiritual practice with care for one another, active neighborhood engagement, and the pursuit of justice. Kol Tzedek gathers on Lenape and Delaware ancestral lands and recognizes Indigenous people who continue to live on and steward the land.
