About Groundwork Home
Custom dining tables and made-to-order furniture are designed around each customer's specifications, from dimensions and materials to base and finish. The studio builds zinc-top, reclaimed wood, solid walnut, live-edge and farmhouse tables, along with kitchen islands, consoles, coffee tables and benches. Pieces are handcrafted in Pennsylvania using hardwoods, reclaimed materials, zinc and steel. Customers can bring a photo, clipping or sketch, or start with ideas from the gallery; after the design is finalized, the team builds the piece and arranges white-glove delivery into the home. Most tables are completed in a matter of months, with a project timeline provided at the start. Groundwork has built custom furniture in Philadelphia since 1993, working with regional craftspeople and suppliers.
