Center for HOPE

Since 2012, Center for Hope has provided emergency shelter in Philadelphia for adults experiencing homelessness. Its work includes a safe, supportive environment where residents can access essential resources, housing-focused case management, and connections to services. The organization partners with the Office of Homeless Services. Support extends beyond a temporary place to stay. An education-based approach helps residents build knowledge, skills, and confidence for greater stability and independent living. Staff listen to each person's experiences, needs, and goals, and help create opportunities for progress. Center for Hope also runs initiatives intended to expand support for the men it serves, including efforts focused on wellness, learning, growth, dignity, and independence.
