Boys Latin of Philadelphia Charter School

Founded in West Philadelphia in 2007, Boys' Latin serves students in grades 6-12. The school offers a classical Latin education and a college-preparatory academic program for boys, with an emphasis on critical thinking, personal responsibility, emotional intelligence, and character development. Its community combines academic expectations with support from educators and families. More than 40 sports, clubs, and activities are available through its after-school program. The school reports that 76% of students matriculate to college, and its graduates have earned admission to more than 300 colleges and universities. Boys' Latin also describes brotherhood and rich relationships as foundations of its approach to preparing students for college and beyond.
