About Beyond the Bell Tours
Beyond the Bell Tours is a historical tour company. It offers inclusive walking tours of Philadelphia centered on stories often left out of the city's history. Tours explore the contributions of women, people of color, LGBTQ communities, and Indigenous peoples, with subjects including activism, resistance, and social movements. The Badass Women's History Tour shares stories of women who shaped the city as entrepreneurs, doctors, politicians, artists, and activists. Another tour explores LGBTQ history in Philadelphia's Gayborhood. The company was founded in 2018 and describes its tours as focused on people and their stories, rather than only places. Beyond the Bell Tours is based in Philadelphia.
