Action Reconciliation Services

For nearly 50 years, Action Reconciliation Service for Peace has sent volunteers to Camden, including placements with partner organizations in the region. Its work connects volunteers with community organizations addressing local needs. One Philadelphia placement is at Cradles to Crayons, where a volunteer helps prepare the warehouse, lead volunteer groups, and prepare orders of essentials for children living in poverty. The organization also works with Christus Lutheran Church and other partners in Camden. Its activities include community-based volunteer service and partnerships across the Philadelphia-Camden area.
